Today for Grandparents Day please enter through the cafeteria or the main doors up front. We can't wait to have you today and the kids are sooooo excited for you to eat with them. You may start arriving at 10:15 for the pre-K through 2nd grade and 3rd grade through 5th grade can start arriving at 10:45 to come in and sit down. If you have a grandchild/child in both time slots no worries we will make sure you can eat with all of them!!! After you eat with your grandchild/child if you wish to take them home you must sign them out at the front office. Thank you for your help in this and we look forward to seeing everybody today at lunch.

Tomorrow, September 6th, the Lady Eagles and Eagles will travel to Brookeland ISD for a XC meet. We will be leaving the school around 11:15 and the race times are below:

Art 2 created Melted Crayon Art. It wasn't hot enough outside for ours so we used a heat gun.
There will be no school on September 4th. It is a scheduled school holiday.
Tomorrow there will be two games here in Zavalla against Martinsville starting at 4:30. The Lady Eagles will play first and the Eagles will follow. We will also be honoring those who earned their letter jacket last year during the boys half time. Come out and support your Jr. High Lady Eagles and Eagles!

What a day for XC at San Augustine ISD. First meet of the year and the Lady Eagles and Eagles did not disappoint!!! Super proud of the kids and how well they did in this heat. Brought back a lot of medals and the Junior High Lady Eagles brought back 1st place as a team!!! Congratulations to all runners and keep up the good work!!! Practice will start at 6:45am Monday Morning. Also thank you parents for coming out and supporting the student athletes!!!

First Cross Country Meet of the 2023 Season is tomorrow at San Augustine!!!!
Let's GO EAGLES & LADY EAGLES!!! 🦅 We will meet here at the new gym at 6am and leave at 6:15am. Below are the times for all divisions. Be sure and be early in case one division finishes and they start the next before time. Don't want anybody to miss the action!!!
The race will take place at San Augustine High School.
8:00am Varsity Girls - 2 miles
8:30am Varsity Boys - 3.1 miles
9:00am JV Girls - 2 miles
9:30am JV Boys - 3.1 miles
10:30am JH Girls - 1.5 miles
11:00am JH Boys - 1.5 miles
We are studying the 7 Elements of Art. These works were created with Line and Color emphasized.
6th grade studied Vincent Van Gogh this week. We took two of his most famous paintings, A Starry Night and Sunflowers, and combined to make our original art works.
Mrs. Sparrow’s PreK is practicing the letter S and it’s sound by painting seahorses.
