
Info for Wednesday Cross Country Meet at Zavalla ⬇️


From the Lady Eagles:
On Wednesday the Girls Cross Country team traveled to Shelbyville for a meet. Gracee got 13th on a hard longer than normal 2 mile course with Haven and Chloe following behind her to help out the varsity team. Other contributors didn’t do too hot.
In junior high Emma and Phoebe led the flight for the Eagles and improved their times.
In junior high girls basketball we had a sweet victory against a very good Wells team. Top performers for the night were:
Kenzie Shives: 10pts, 4 stls, and 7 ast
Layla McCarty: 10pts, 8 reb
Kelcie Ponder: 7pts, 6 reb
Saturday the high school girls cross country team traveled to Central for a meet. The team did a good job and Gracee medaled.

Welcome Allison Davis to the Texas Army National Guard! 🇺🇸 This Zavalla girl enlisted as a 42A Human Resource Specialist! Allie plans to attend Stephen F Austin State University to study nursing! She has a service heart and the National Guard is lucky to have her!

Friday, Dustin and Regan Rash came to talk to Laura Hoisington’s General Employability Skills class about working in the oil field and building and owning their own business. We are thankful that they came to share their knowledge with these students.
