An important message from Zavalla ISD. Good afternoon! After discussions with our Mayor, School Board and administrative team, we will cancel school tomorrow due to lack of adequate water supply. Zavalla XC is working hard each and everyday. Wednesday they competed at West Sabine. Below is the runners who medaled:

The Junior High Boys got 1st place again!!!! Over 200 runners in their race and they showed up!!! So far they have gotten 1st place 3 times and 2nd once as a team this year!!! Very proud of that group and all of the hard work they are putting in. If you haven't seen them run yet you are missing out!!! Come out next week and watch them run here in Z town on Wednesday, September 25th!!! Going to be a great time and great competition!!!!

The varsity girls will start things off at 1:45pm, Varsity boys follow at 2:15pm, jr high girls will run at 3:40pm, and the jr high boys finish it off at 4:00pm. Zavalla Elementary will have an open house on Tuesday, September 10th from 5pm to 6:30pm. We look forward to seeing everyone there. The Book Fair will continue this next week before school and during lunch. It will also be open during the open house.

Great Meet yesterday at Brookeland ISD!!! Every kid came back with a new PR!! Very proud of them and very proud of the junior high boys team for winning 1st place as a team again!!! If you haven't watched this group run you are missing out. Great things at Zavalla ISD!!!
